Hi, my name is Adelyn, but I like to go by “Addie”. My favorite things are going to school, watching Frozen, Tinkerbell & Dumbo, eating at chick-fil-a at the mall on Saturdays, and playing with my brother Oliver & sister Vivianna .
I have a rare brain disorder called Aicardi Syndrome. It causes me to have seizures which really scare me and I don’t like them. Most of the seizures happen at night so I don’t like to sleep. I would much rather play with my Elsa doll and watch the iPad than sleep.
I know it is a challenge for my family but I am VERY lucky to have them. Ollie & Vivi help me a lot and are my best friends. My daddy and mommy always spend time with be and make me laugh all the time! They tell me that I have inspired them to raise money to help other children like me with epilepsy so other kids don’t ever have to go through these scary times.
